World AIDS Day and AIDS Walk

Co-sponsored by HANS, its member agencies, and New College of Florida, World AIDS Day will be observed this year on November 22. Agencies from both Sarasota and Manatee Counties will be on hand for the third annual AIDS Walk, a health fair, free HIV testing, and other activities. The theme is "Respect and Protect: Together We Can Stop the Spread of HIV and End HIV Prejudice". Bands, entertainment, and food available all day!

8 a.m. - Registration for AIDS Walk [Register Online]
9 a.m. - AIDS Walk
10:30 a.m. - Opening Ceremony
11 a.m. - Health and Wellness Expo [Registration Form] (Deadline: 10/15/08)
11 a.m. - “Let’s Get Talking” Sessions [Registration Form] (Deadline: 10/15/08)
3 p.m.- Closing Ceremony
