Diverse agencies, organizations, and service providers unite in HANS to prevent HIV infection and improve the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS in our community.  HANS Members:

• Assess Sarasota County’s HIV epidemic as well as unmet HIV prevention and care needs
• Identify existing prevention resources and prioritize the Comprehensive HIV Prevention Plan
• To develop locally specific prevention and care plans
• Organize community events, such as those promoting HIV/AIDS awareness

Interested in becoming a member of HANS?

Membership in HANS is open to any agency, organization, or individual wishing to assist in planning and implementing HIV/AIDS activities impacting our community.  Membership is granted with completion and receipt of the membership application.  Membership shall not be restricted on the bases of age, sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability or national origin.
