▪ HIV/AIDS Prevention/Intervention Grants Available Sarasota County Health Department is pleased to announce we are accepting RFA’s for HIV/AIDS Prevention Grants for calendar year 2007/2008. The total grant award this year will be $75,000. The awards will be made by a Review Committee comprised of nominated community members to local agencies submitting completed applications. The decrease in this year’s allocation of county revenue to our agency has affected many of our programs. Regrettably, we are unable to fund this year’s grants at the previous levels due to the decrease. As a result, we have revised the top individual agency limit to $15,000. We encourage community agencies to collaborate on their grant applications, thereby increasing their award potential.

Remember, seven copies of the grant application must be presented with the other supporting papers when you deliver the grants. If the process is not followed, the application will be returned and will not be a part of the grants reviewed.
