Peer Navigator Program
 

Living with HIV/AIDS, and especially a new diagnosis, can be a confusing, frightening, and often overwhelming situation.  That's why peer navigators - specially trained community members who are themselves living with HIV/AIDS - can be so important.  They act as mentors and role models to others who are learning to cope with the daily challenges of living with HIV.

 
HANS Member Agency CAN (Community AIDS Network) is developing a Peer Navigator Program to add another vital resource available to Southwest Florida's HIV/AIDS community.
