Take Control - Take the Test

Confidential HIV testing is offered by many HANS Member Agencies.  You can find sites throughout Florida on the Dept of Health website.  In addition, you may text your ZIP code to 477493, and you'll receive a text back with the closest HIV testing site(s).

Prevention is the Best Medicine

Learn how Prevention can help you protect yourself from HIV, hepatitis, and other infections.  See where you can get free condoms throughout the county on our Condom Trail. 
 

Find Services & Get the Care You Need

HANS is your link to HIV/AIDS healthcare in the Sarasota community.  We list HIV/AIDS services available in the community, many offered by our Member Agencies, and explain all those confusing acronyms on our Patient Assistance Programs page.  We address the risks and needs specific to special populations, and offer a Peer Navigator Program to connect the newly diagnosed with more experience people living with HIV/AIDS.

In addition to our Member Agencies, HANS is linked to a number of local, regional, and national resources that provide HIV/AIDS services and information.  We maintain a calendar of HIV/AIDS-related events in the community, and occasionally we post interesting news items.
